The Northwest Iowa Pre-Winter Rally, established in 1983, is an annual recovery event held on the shores of West Lake Okoboji. It takes place on the third weekend of October, and offers a time to come together for fellowship, support, and inspiration from speakers sharing stories of experience, strength, and hope. The Northwest Iowa Pre-Winter Rally is an annual event centered on recovery from alcoholism. It serves as a gathering point for individuals involved with Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Al-Anon, and Alateen, and other recovery fellowships, providing a space to share experiences and strengthen their journeys in recovery.

The 42nd Annual Northwest Iowa Pre-Winter Rally is scheduled for October 17th to October 19th, 2025, at Camp Okoboji, located at 1531 Edgewood Dr, Milford, IA. Registration begins at 3 pm on October 17th. The main meeting hall is fully accessible.

Camp Okoboji offers a wide range of lodging options, from dormitory cabins and lakeside homes to spacious retreat centers. If registering via mail, simply check the box indicating your additional contribution of $25. If registering online, please purchase a scholarship fund ticket.

Pre-Registration is $25 per person, available until October 10th. After this date, the registration fee increases to $30 per person. Attendance for Alateen members is free of charge. Scholarships will be available at the registration desk.
